The L’Occitane Village that is seen on the Ramadan Calendar
was illustrated by a female artist from the region.

Aya Mobaydeen loves working with colors that works well together and focusing on details, hence the L’Occitane Village concept came to live!

Aya Mobaydeen is an illustrator based in Amman, Jordan. “I am curious and eager to always explore and dabble different fields, which has helped me figure out my interests, that being a deep passion in illustration. My work is inspired by people, nature, animals and everything around me. I love working with colors that work well together. I also focus on the details and use a lot of repetitive elements. I believe that reflecting my emotions, experiences and memories into my art makes it meaningful and impactful.”
